The Banawe and Sagada Expedition Part 1

It's been awhile since a post has been made in this pretend-travel blog of mine.I really missed writing but as always, time has been elusive.I'm back on my feet again (i think), so it's time for another entry. My post this time is going to be my enchanting journey to the Mountain Province... Banaue and Sagada specifically. The trip has been heavenly, literally. There were clouds all over the place. Beautiful, picturesque sceneries for your own eyes to feast.
Banaue
I have been trying to plan this trip a few times before the actual trip, so it was really a blessing that the trip has been successful and kick-as$.
It would be better if the houses were some place else

We left Manila around 10pm and arrived in Banaue at exactly 6am via Ohayami Bus (the only bus that can bring you to banaue). The atmosphere was very chilly as soon as we set our foot on the wet road of Banaue. It is literally stepping to a whole different world (a different world from where we've been atleast). My teeth was doddering from the cold. We didn't expect the weather to be this cold. From the bus station, we decided to grab a quick bite. We ate at this "tapsilugan" type eatery where they serve tapsilog obviously. There was nothing special about the food we ate, considering that it was overpriced.(150 for the tapsilog, i think). After we had our breakfast, We rented a van (there were 8 of us) going to Sagada, We paid 150 each for the van. We didn't think that it was a wise choice to make at that time because we were trying to do this trip the budget friendly way.

Before leaving Banawe, the driver took us to the Banaue Rice Terraces viewpoints. The views were amazing. It was a surreal experience. It was the same feeling i felt when i first saw the Chocolate Hills, the Mount Mayon and the Windmills Of Ilocos. These beautiful places that you only see on text books and magazine when you were just little, but now...it's here..right before your eyes...The feeling.....PRICELESS!!
