Manila Walkabouts

Last october, out of boredom and the itch to "test drive" my new camera, me and yoko decided to have a "walkabout" in manila.I think Manila is a spectacular place for photowalk and general wandering.With my Dslr ready to shoot away, we embark our first walkabout in the glorious city.Our first stop, the central park of manila, The Luneta Park. Not much has changed really, it is still the same luneta that i have know for all those years, with the exception of the newly renovated Philippine map.

It was June of this year that we traveled and fell in love with Bohol and Cebu.I'll just let the pictures speaks for it self!This was Bohol as i saw it through my eyes...

what's next??

It's been quite awhile since my last travel adventure.I think it was 3 or 4 months ago.Today i am thinking of El Nido, Sagada and Calaguas Island!Hopefully, before this year ends, i'll get to visit atleast one.

I just got back from my trip to caramoan last week.and all i can say is that...it was a bittersweet experience for me..bitter in terms of the travel time...sweet because of the beauty of the place we visited.Our adventure was mostly sweet. We got to experience the paradise of Caramoan and the majestic Mayon Volcano.All in all, our trip from Pasay to Caramoan turned out to be a whopping 14 hours because of some unexpected occurence.Upon arriving at sabang port we took a boat that will bring us to caramoan. I think we left at exactly 8am.After 30 minutes on water, the boat seems to be having some "Low Bat" moments and there we were...in the middle of the sea with gigantic waves..stranded!

It's time to make another post again and document my life as a traveler.For this entry, it will be all about my trip in Anawangin ,Zambales. A month ago me and my co workers decided to take a break from the drama and the stress of the Operating room and have a little getaway of our own. At first caramoan easily popped into our minds, but after extensive decision making and considerations we ended up in Anawangin. I had heard lots of raves about this place.Every travel blog that i visited always have Anawangin in their checklists on "places to go", so it would be just fitting to explore this place ourselves.

ILOCOS

It's 10pm Ms. Joylene, the travel agent is already trying to reach me.I am late already.we are supposed to meet at 9pm for our trip to Ilocos.The traffic in EDSA was ridiculous."This is my long awaited trip to Ilocos and this traffic jam will ruin it for me" i said to myself!Luckily, everything turned alright.10:30pm, We left florida bus lines.It was a long trip!we arrived in Batac around 9am and at 10:30am we started the tour at the Marcos mausoleum . The place was ok, not much to see there.Our next stop was pagudpod beach. It was a veeerry hot afternoon, the beach was crowded with swimsuit clad people.The fine white sand beach at their so called blue lagoon was a piece of heaven for me.The place was great though it needs a little bit of cleaning on some area, all in all, the place was great.

The "travel year"

It's going to be a wild year for me...This year is the "travel year" for me!Been busy this past few months trying to figure out to fix my schedule.Im planning to kick it off in cebu and bohol this june..but...if i'm in the mood..ill start probably this week in villa escudero at my home town in san pablo city laguna.For now these are the pics from my walkabouts on sampaloc lake...

Wow it's been awhile since the coron trip ...It's time to venture another getaway.This time Bohol and Cebu!!!I already have the ticket..we'll be travelling this june 29...excited to the bone!!can't wait!!!this is it!!!making it a reality...im gonna travel the philippines!!!!!!!
